Sherb gently wiped his tears away with his sleeve , and gave Skye a soft smile . What would he ever do without a friend as supporting and as sweet as her ? He knew he could always count on her , even when the skies turn grey , and she most definitely could count on him .

“Ahh... you make me blush, Skye. I’m no Merengue though. Sploosh-”

The little fox turned about with hearing an unfamiliar voice to her big ears, only to look and see the sky blue-furred wolf. Her fluffy tail swished a bit nervously with meeting someone new, especially since she wasn’t familiar with the island yet.
“Oh! Um y-yeah, sly. I’m new to this island, I just moved in last night. I’m a little bit lost so...” She spoke shyly, twiddling her paws together,” I’d appreciate the help. The name is Sam, nice to meet you!”

Sherb always appreciated when his friends gave him gifts , even if it happend to be something as simple as a plain piece of clothing , he would treasure it and make sure he keeps it clean . Even though .. sometimes it was pretty hard for him to keep donut crumbles from falling all over his clothes .
He really needed to start working on his eating manners .
“This is gonna look so cute on me!”
Now , Sherb just felt the need to give Skye something back , he didn’t want to look rude by not giving anything back .. so , he reached into his pockets and pulled out a lovely cherry blossom bonsai , before handing it to his friend .
“ This was given to me from my grandma .. but i want to give it to you now , i’m sure it will look prettier in your home . ”
