G: Gentle (how gentle are they? physically and emotionally)
Xander is a union of opposites. He is harsh and uncompromising when he knows he's right, but only with people outside his personal circle. With those in his circle, he is gentle and sweet. He's a harsh king of iron but also a gentle prince of gold.
H: Hugs (do they like hugs? how often do they do it, and what are they like?)
Xander is happy to hug with people he's close to, but he's not a casual hugger with just anyone. His hugs are warm and tender, as if saying "I will protect you."
O: Open (when would they start revealing things about themselves? do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)
He works very hard to cultivate the image of the perfect king, and doesn't easily allow people in to understand that he's a person beneath that image. Not to say that he's unfriendly, he's just not very open with personal thoughts or details.
S: Security (how protective are they? how would they protect their s/o?)
Xander is highly protective, sometimes to the point of paranoia. He's kind and lovely to the people in his inner circle, but he also wants to make sure nothing bad happens to them. He'd love to have them all stay with him in a fortress somewhere. Generally, this manifests as him being watchful and nonspecifically protective.
T: Try (how much effort would they put in? like dates and gifts?)
I wouldn't say he puts in an inordinate amount of effort, but he's very thoughtful. Like, he's not the kind to hire an orchestra for a date, but he's the kind to get a thoughtful gift and do something meaningful and fun, like a show his partner has always wanted to see.
