Xandra: I love my little Stewy Dewy. Kylie: Omg. Is that your... baby?! Jimmy: He’s beautiful! Kylie: I can’t believe you created this FREAK OF NATURE with Miles. Why would you idiots bring this poor child into the world?! Don’t tell me y’all are in love. Xandra: Well, actually, we’re just... Miles: In love. I love Xandra. That’s it.
Xandra stared at Miles in surprise. Kylie, Jimmy, even the baby melted away for a moment. All she could see was Miles, looking at her with pure vulnerability in his eyes, like all his defenses were stripped away. He stared into her eyes, on the verge of tears.
Kylie: Oookay, this is getting too weird for me. I’m out. Jimmy: I’m gonna give you guys some alone time.

Xandra: Y’know, there’s always one person I look forward to seeing when I come home from teaching. Miles: Oh yeah? Who could that be? Xandra: My best friend, of course! Let’s have a glass of wine and chill. Miles: Oh my god, yes. Work was a pain in the ass today. Let’s go to your room, get away from Kylie.
... One glass of wine later ...
Xandra: Miles, there’s something I need to ask you. It’s serious. Miles: Okay, you’re kind of freaking me out. Xandra: Look, I’m, I’m getting old. And I want kids. I don’t have a partner. I’ve never even had sex for crying out loud. I was wondering if we could have sex... and a baby... together. I know it’s a lot to ask for. I would raise it, no one would even need to know. Miles: Wow, that’s a BIG question. Come here, beautiful. Let’s start now.
