are you guys ever gonna make a server for this crossover! it's REALLY cool so far
Honestly, we haven’t thought of that! I’m surprised about how fast the numbers for the people interested in this AU have gone up, and I assume we both thought it was too early to consider a discord. I’d say, for the people reading this, type in the notes whether or not you’d join a discord. Based on results, we’ll see what we can do!-Xavier

Am I the only one who feels like the nit picking everyone does on pieces of representation in the media on this bullshit site ruins shit? Like I'm definitely not one to jump for bad representation for any group and call it a good day but holy shit everyone is just trying their damnedest these days to look at something not half bad and make anyone who likes it feel like shit for enjoying what little representation they see that actually matches them! For example: the new Dream Daddy Dating Simulator game floating around, you either love it and accept that it has a couple flaws and could be better but laugh at the dad humor and call it sweet and cute and that's it, OR you could be a crotch goblin and tear it to shreds because god forbid it not be 100% proven to have gay men having put in their say in how it was made. God fucking forbid that someone just think "oh this was a nice little thing they put together it's cute" notice a couple flaws but think "oh they have room to improve" and get the fuck over it. But no almost every fucking thing I see about that game is someone just ripping it apart calling it terrible representation. Now I do see others enjoying the game as well but god dammit people why do you have to treat all new representation media as if it was made by the devil himself!? So what if they don't get it 101% right for everyone's standards!? You know what the mature thing to do is instead of fucking gripe about it and make others feel bad for liking it? Go up to the creators, maybe send them a tweet or email, and actually be like "Hey cool game, BUT, I did notice this little thing in here that wasn't quite right." And while they aren't gonna change the whole game around that one little request, an equally mature content creator would take that suggestion or tidbit into consideration and if new content was created, they would fix it. Jesus fuck sometimes y'all go too far with disliking something's for the simplest reasons.
mark lee deserves uhhhh the universe
anyways marty scurll looks super good in a bullet club shirt
i've read 6 books since i started staying home for quarantine in late march. which is more than i read in all of 2018 or 2019.
anyways i just finished "of fire and stars" by audrey coulthurst and im just starting the sequel "of ice and shadows".
it's very much a YA book in the fantasy elements and its not as complex as i like my fantasy books to be, but the story and the character are great. i couldn't put it down. i'm hoping the second one has a little more world building.
its wlw. they're princesses and dennaleia is promised to amaranthine's brother, thandilimon. she's to become queen of mynaria, but she falls for her betrothed's sister instead.
denna has magic she's been pushing down and fighting her whole life. she cant control it. and mynaria is prosecuting magic users after a murder in the royal court.
best part, no homophobia! same-sex relationships and attraction actually seem to be relatively commonplace. with multiple mentions of other characters having same-sex attraction. any trouble our couple finds themselves in has nothing to do with their sexualities which, in lgbt ya, is rare.
tldr: "of fire and stars" by audrey coulthurst is a YA wlw fantasy book that is actually worth it. slowburn. angst with a happy ending. no homophobia that often plagues lgbt fiction.
