Xavier Delcour is one of those lesser known Belgians that we love to introduce to you. Born and bred in Belgium, he studied at La Cambre in Brussels. Also a reason you find many of his archive garments in @fashionandlacemuseum . Much worth a visit imo. In 1995 at the Festival Européen des jeunes Stylistes Xavier won the Prix collexrion Homme, Prix de la Presse, Prix Absolut Vodka. He presente hus first collection in 1996 but it's not until 1999 that he designed a pret-a-porter collection for men. (Women's came in 2003. Think a blend of 80's dandy, punk rock, 90's clubbing together with slim tailoring. And you can see how he and Lieve Van Gorp came from that same punk Belgian basket.
