Lydia had been hesitant about going to see Xavier. She still wasn’t in the mood to interact with anyone but the longer she went without her powers the worse she felt. She was desperate to get them back because without them Lydia felt almost empty inside. And Xavier was someone she trusted. Lydia didn’t want to get her hopes up too high but if anyone could help her it would be Xavier, right? Lydia just hoped he would be okay with seeing her. She had ignored every single person who had tried to contact her over the last few weeks- Xavier included. Lydia didn’t look at her phone anymore so she wasn’t sure if he had reached out to her but she was sure there were at least two or three missed text messages. Picking up her phone was just too hard these days; which is why Lydia didn’t even bother to let Xavier know she was coming over. She simply knocked on his door and sighed with relief when he answered. “Hi.” Lydia said softly. She was almost a completely different person now. Her confidence had been destroyed and her heart broken into a million pieces. “I um.. I need your help. Do you have a minute?”
