It was given to me by Lord Xemnas personally to help me hone my skills~ What the flute does is channel the latent power within the “perfect form” pokemon that we’ve created and unleashes it in full force! It also helps to...get them back on the right path should they start to recall memories of who are what they were deep down. I like to think of myself as somewhat of a ‘pied piper”, leading them back to where they belong.

What are Zexion's reasons for reversing the effects of the x-ball? He must have a stake to take that risk.
Unlike many other members of Team XIII, Zexion joined without the threat of having himself or someone he knew turned into a pokemon. He was an orphan, growing up in the same home as Namine, and was chosen by Vexen when he was fairly young to join their ranks because of his mental prowess.
He’s seen years and YEARS of these experiments, what it’s done to break apart friends and family, the suffering it’s caused. When he was younger, he thought that that was the way of things, and was more than happy to do everything he could to help his mentor and “father figure”. However, as he grew up, and especially after sing how Xemnas was using Namine, he vowed to change it.
He works in secret, with Namine and his Dunsparce Bookworm at his side, trying to crack the code. So far he’s been unsuccessful, and without any “perfect forms” available that Xemnas doesn’t know about try test his theories out on, its come to a halt.
But he has faith that, if he works towards this goal, he can right some of the wrong.
