“Don’t worry ‘bout it, Yaoyorozu. It’s fine.” To be honest, Hotaru hadn’t even expected the other girl to offer to share her umbrella. Besides, the former thief was used to the rain. When she lived on the streets, she had little to no shelter when the weather would get bad, so she’d just have to get used to it.

“Nah, I’m good. The rain doesn’t really bother me anyways.” She glanced up at the cloudy sky and sighed a bit. She then glanced back at the other student.

“Ah, but...Thanks for sharin’.” Might as well show her gratitude, it’d be rude otherwise.

“So.  You’re my partner for today.”  Shinsou glanced up at the seating assignment for home ec.  Apparently so many people had dropped this class that they were consolidating classes, and there were only about 7 or 8 different students milling about the classroom as he spoke.  This room smelled distinctly like burnt food, something that Shinsou was pretty sure was a premonition of things to come.

“Ever cooked before?”  Shinsou was a master of the instant meal, but that was about it.

“ll Momo’s favorite fruit would obviously be peaches. Also pronounced as ‘momo’ in Japanese but written with a different character.”                           

((You learn something new everyday. That only gives me more fuel to give Momo a cute nickname now for future reference so I’ll keep this tucked away for future use, thank you! Every Momo is now doomed to this cute petname.))

ll Correction, the character in question isn’t their OC. It’s a canon character from a JRPG which they created a BNHA verse for. Adding some of their own elements, but also just taking a lot from the source material, including the name of the quirk and how it works.

     He just wanted some more help, but never would have thought that that would’ve happened. He completely forgot what he  was going to ask now as his face only turned beet red as his eyes only grow wider as he looked at Yaoyorozu. 

          “I... Uh... umm... You see... uh...” He couldn’t get the words out as his mind was overcome with embarrassment. He started to hperventilate for a small while as he felt his own heart beat rapidly, until finally taking a deep breath. “You can make stuff right? Make a mask please....”

     He would’ve asked for help from his sister, but he was expected to know this already. It wasn’t the first time he was introduced to this, and he didn’t want to be shamed by someone he knows. But now the situation was different. He sighs softly as he moves his hair away from his eyes. 

          “I’m having a hard time keeping the net forces make sense. Cause when I do something for block A, and it makes sense, it doesn’t correlate correctly with block B when in motion. It’s like block B is going slower than block A, but it is known that both are moving at the same constant speed so the net force for both have to be zero right? I don’t know where I’m messing up and it is frustrating.”

     It went from trying to blend in and get away from the ones following him, to utter amazement from the quirk. Never has he seen something created with such... ease? He assumes it is because she is used to it at this point, but regardless, it is still a very impressive feat. He pretty much forgot about the danger he was in.

          “Woah, that is amazing! But what do you use to create that? If I recall, matter can’t be created or destroyed. So how do you make something like that?!” He asked out of curiosity. He chuckles a bit, this whole scenario just reminding him of how his quirk works. “I create something with my quirk...  but it’s only one thing and... it uses my blood. My name is Rafael by the way.” An awkward way to present his name, but he doesn’t recall if he has properly introduced himself to her. He has seen her at UA, but never approached her. Since it used his blood, his tentacles that come out always come red.

Continued from here @xcreati As if the fact that he was failing to meet his own expectations wasn’t enough, he was being criticized by the single person he’d like to impress the most. It was embarrassing in of itself but now her words were just making him feel worse.

“I can’t help it that I panic about my life being in danger! It’s weird not to be scared about that sort of thing! Not to mention when someone’s charging right at you with an offensive Quirk it’s hard not to think I’ll die before I even have a chance to kiss a girl yet! How can you not be scared of that?! Do none of you worry about not being able to live your lives to the fullest?! It’s easier said than done!”
