Gerard Way

Despite the disastrous outcome of his San Francisco concert, Lestat silently deplored the abrupt end of his rock star career. Forced into his place in the shadows once again, shunned from the warmth of lime light and the heat of adoring fans, he experienced moments of great bitterness and melancholy. It all changed when Lestat befriended Gerard Way, in whom he often sees the reflection of himself in his bygone days of rock stardom. When asked, he openly admits to live vicariously through Gerard when it comes to performing onstage. Lestat has gifted Gerard a vast collection of tight leather pants, jackets and net t-shirts, insisting of selfies of Gerard clad in it. Lestat is furthermore known to have sent the members of My Chemical Romance his private jet, time and time again, to take off at a moment notice, fly half around the world to meet him (and guests) at obscure locations and perform his favorite songs.

Nape: Deep Attachment

The house was silent, completely void of all possible sounds, as she made her way down the winding staircase and into the living area. Her otherwise placid expression altered at the sight of Gerard seated awkwardly on the plum coloured sofa, leaning forward some, as he held his head in his hands. Features contorting as she tried to work out what was wrong, she sat down beside him, the cushion sinking as she did so, but he did not move. Instead, he exhaled and a drawn out sigh followed soon after. There was obviously something wrong — but he would tell her in his own time; it was never polite to intrude.

”Let me know if there’s anything I can do for you. I’m always here, if you need me" as soon as she said this, she shifted a little closer and pushed aside a lock of his hair, placing the softest of kisses to the nape of his neck, hopeful that it would relieve his apparent distress.

Seems that greyface has forgotten about that nifty little trick you have called 'mindreading'. While I agree with them to an extent, I think you're definitely smart enough to dictate between a legit criminal and someone who had to take an unfortunate choice in life to fend for themselves.

It is the great moral question at the root of all my kind: How can we justify killing? I do not blame them for challenging me on it. I would ask them, however, which they think is worse: killing the father guilty of unspeakable crimes, or killing his innocent children? If they are an ideologist, they  will probably  say both: killing is wrong. 

But there is a very obvious choice.

I mean, maybe they meant to put 'English' instead of 'language', but still, a grammar error is a grammar error

☆ - happy headcanon

Lestat came earlier than he should have, born in November, a full month and a half before he’d come to term. Her body, exhausted after so many fully realised and failed births, simply could not carry him any longer. 

Convinced that the babe would not survive, like so many others, the Marquis left the castle on what he loosely termed ‘business,’ leaving her alone with the priest, the midwife, and the pain. 

He was born at night. Tiny, wailing, the priest advised they baptize him immediately, in case he did not make it until morning. 

For the first time, she found herself in a unique position: this child would be named by her, claimed by her, perfectly clean of her husband’s touch or thought. 

She named him Lestat. It seemed to suit him—his birth had been urgent, and so then might his name. 

Later, the Marquis, furious that the child, both male and living, had not been named by him, went to the village priest and had the names “Christophe” and “Marie” added to the birth record. 

But it didn’t matter. Lestat she had named him, and Lestat he remained. Hers. 

And that had never changed.
