If there is one thing that would pry her off of another day of working at a card shops, its using her motorcycle especially for a paycheck. The feel of being on an motorcycle, and driving to new areas was always something she will keep doing, even if she never gets the chance to duel again. Even so, she never been to this city or location. Ack, she can’t complain or back out now! They need these packages! Hikibi looks to the.. Large building before checking the GPS,

“Alright so, its supposed to be at the Manjoume Company.” The turbo duelist looks at the GPS, a second time to double check since it was where the packages need to be deliver. The brunette gets up from her motorcycle, pulls off her helmet, before walking into the building with a clipboard, as her green eyes spotted an co-worker. Hey, maybe she can sign this! Hikibi thought to herself before walking up to them, “Pardon me Madam, is this the Manjoume Company? I got a delivery that needs to be signed.”

Yusaku was paying more attention to the tablet that was sitting in front of him and the conversation more than the food that was sat next to him. He honestly hadn’t been eating a whole lot over the past few days.

“So we know that the other Ignis are out there, we’ll just need to track them down,” he said. “We could have Flame try to track them down like he did with Ai. Do you think it’s possible?”

“Good morning, Atticus! On your way to class?” There was still some time left before the bell rang so perhaps it wouldn’t hurt to talk a little.. right?

                    yusaku had his reservations about allowing takeru to team up with him, but he had to admit that things had been going pretty smoothly with a second person ( who could duel ) to help. takeru had been quick on the uptake every time they were in vrains; easily following yusaku’s decisions and fighting battles when needed for him. it was surprisingly easy, so easy that yusaku almost forgot the reason he abhorred letting people help him in the first place.

                            almost. however, returning from the vrains was always sobering. he thought he felt exhausted, but one look at takeru made him feel energetic in comparison. he was immediately filled with guilt ( if he had made him stay out of it, takeru might have had a chance at a normal life  ). but takeru chose this of his own volition. because he understood firsthand the reason yusaku was fighting. and it would be incredulous for yusaku to think that he could make those decisions for him. they were in the same boat, after all. 

                            “ you’re tired. ” he stated flatly. even though he wasn’t the nurturing type, he showed concern in his own very unfeeling tone. “ i can ask kusanagi-san to take you home. ” // @xduelon

Since Bakura had brought him back to Japan he’d learned one thing quickly: the ways of the surface ran like clockwork. Every day, at almost every hour, all the people he knew were pulled to certain places. School was a big one, closely followed by the infamous ‘part time job,’ and while his friends seemed to enjoy them beneath all of the complaints they were nonetheless a nuisance. Not because he was barred from participating (with no visa and no passport) but the fact that it meant those he cared for were occupied, leaving him alone.

In fact with every passing day Malik was increasingly aware of just how small the window for company was. Even when he didn’t have to contend with school or work there were family events and time spent on other friends. He knew it was unreasonable to expect someone to be with him all the time. No one could replace Rishid and, if he allowed himself to reach out, his steadfast brother would be his shadow again in an instant. Only that went against the whole point of starting over, of leading lives unshackled, so he persisted against loneliness.

Sometimes he whiled away the hours by driving. Today his roaming had brought him to the pier. He sat with arms around his knees, watching the azure waterline nuzzle the docks. Having grown up so far from water he’d never learned how to swim. Imagining what it might be like was a surprisingly dull pastime. The sea was too calm to content him but it was also the closest he could currently get to an ever shifting landscape. 

                                      He wondered for the umpteenth time if he should go home.
