Kayla smiled a little, albeit awkwardly, and she gave Alexis a kiss on the neck, letting it linger for longer than she should have let it nor Alexis should have let pass.

Kayla was bustled into the courtroom in chains, eyes not meeting the queen’s eyes.
“M-mah name is Kayla Montacell, of the kingdom, that you destroyed and stuff. I can play you a mean song if you let me live?”
Little Kayla was brought into the courtroom. She was relatively docile, but couldn’t really talk, as she was crying and sobbing.
“Where’d all my sisters go? I can’t find them anywhere... Who are you?”
Big Kayla was dragged into the room, in which both the guards and her were covered in numerous bruises and wounds. Even then, she had been thrashing the chains and struggling all the way up to the throne room.
“I demand death! No way is this jackass gonna own any part of me!”
Kiri was ushered in, wrapped in chains, and her blanket was draped over her shoulders. She looked up at the royal with tired eyes.
“So this is my fate now?”
Karmal was lead up to the throne room in chains, still in her military uniform. A third guard to the side of the two held her sword and her ring and presented them to Alexis as further spoils.
“Greetings, your highness. I am General Karmal. You have bested me this time on the battlefield, and I commend you. I suppose now I must be under your rule, and I will dutifully serve, as per my honor dictates.”
Ozzie was hauled in, willingly but reluctantly.
“I am Sharon Favre. I’m still not quite sure why I’ve been brought here. I didn’t even fight in this damn war.”
Boss was hauled in, willingly, but she seemed very confused about her situation.
“Deborah Lahey. Why am I here again? Am I supposed to be fixing something of yours?”
Joan was hauled in, dressed in revealing clothing.
“Oh god, what the fuck. I may be noble who likes the fuck, but no way am I going to be made to do it!”
Omages was brought in unconscious. A guard explained that she’s knocked out because she had currently fought and incapacitated any guard who she came near, so she wound up just getting knocked out for everyone’s safety.
Ray was brought into the throne room. She refused to make eye contact with Alexis.
“Ray Katz. I recommend you just kill me now, as I refuse to cooperate with any of your plans of conquest.”
A guard brought in a little cage with a small green lizard sleeping inside it. A note on top read:
Lizard is actually Miranda, the resident goddess. She is currently sleeping, but give her some food and some weed along with her lover, and we believe she will be useful to us.
Adrianna was brought in chains. She looked very similar to the defeated queen. She did not put up much of a fight.
“Adrianna Montacell. I suppose I’m the spoil, huh? Well, you’re just gonna have to execute me now, because I’m not about to betray my kingdom.”
Ulrika was hauled in, reduced to servant wear, and she still wrestled with her chains.
“No way am I doing this! Kill me with the rest of my fallen men! No way will I ever cooperate with you!”
