I was tagged by Vallany on Deviantart to do this, and I had it all written down and forgot to post it X_0.... Anyway, another 8 character facts meme. At least it's not Saturn this time XD This one's for Ferro~

1. Using doctored and experimental herbs, (and probably magic) he has been able to double his lifespan of a normal Furling. And still feels young. He tells people the reason is because of drinking Guil saliva, to see if they fall for it.

2. Ferro is the Godfather of Fiora and Miley. He was good friends with both Amelia and Roderus' families, and was able to receive custody if needed. He currently has legal custody of Miley. In writing only however, as she chooses to live in Fiora's house.

3. He had a great crush for Fiora's grandmother, Caroline. It was unrequited.

4. His favorite thing to do is to express knowledge and his findings to any who will listen (or even if they don't). He was a teacher in his younger age. One of his students was Ryou Shintakus.

5. He was married at one point (divorced) and has a daughter. He passed on his knowledge of extended life to her which she also practices. She's doing well.

6. He can speak and read almost every language.

7. In his youth he actually used to have a very serious and solemn personality. And was a stick in the mud. The longer he lived and the more people he met and the more experiences he had, his personality changed to be more joking and lighthearted. He only becomes serious now when it's concerning people he loves. Otherwise, not a lot can phase him.

8. His full name is Ferro Oliver DeBlaine, born on Igiom the 9th, and he's 222 years old.

how is the xemmeshian afterlife? do all the races have different concepts of it? what about ghosts?

Seera: Xemmeshia afterlife is still something I’m ironing out. But what I have so far is that the planet Xemmeshia exists in the human world, hence why there is human words and traditions on Xemmeshia, because Furlings, Scalings and Featherlings were transformed from humans. But that’s a whole other thing. Anyway, the world that the God Xem lives in is another universe from the human one. A universe of completely different worlds and creatures. And in the center of that universe is Xems kingdom. There, souls are created by Xem and Xems Gods, and are born in a basin called the “Birth of Light.” Souls then float around the kingdom conversing with other souls born there.

However, these souls could not leave the kingdom as just souls. They needed bodies in order to leave and explore the other planets and worlds, because mere souls would not survive. They needed a “form” created by the genetic make up from their parents in reproduction. After receiving their forms and after dying, they go back to Xems kingdom where they were born.

(Dark souls- those who chose to follow darkness are sent to a void as a mere soul again, without their body. They are stuck to follow a broken path lit with very dim light to try to find their way out. If they cannot follow this light, or choose not to, the darkness consumes their soul and they truly die.)

After souls are back in Xems kingdom, they can then leave the kingdom and explore the vast amounts of worlds in that universe. They can transform from their soul form to their body form, and are imbued with power of Xem. To the creatures and civilizations who see beings of Xem coming to their planet, they refer them as such.

Beings of Xem are giving this power to fight against the darkness that was unleashed in Xemmeshia from the “creation” of dragons. (And that’s a whole other thing) This darkness that crept its way into Xems universe and threatens to consume it.

So yea… death in Xemmeshia isnt an end of life. But a start of a much bigger one… pretty much XD

And no, there are no ghosts in Xemmeshia because of this. There are some instances where Xemmeshians have seen their ancestors in the kingdom during visions, but that’s as close as it gets.

As for the concepts the races have of the afterlife, it is generally known to most of the kingdom, as it isnt very secretive, and some Xemmeshians even have small memories of it. But its a whoooole thing that I plan to write all down when I start getting Xemmeshian lore pictures up. I’ve been working on them for a while now, and I’m excited 83

(Fun fact about the souls though, for each Xemmeshian, their soul is visible in their eyes. Their eyes ARE their soul. For example, Fiora’s soul is a golden color, and in her eyes it is her soul looking out from the form that was created for her soul. Same goes for everyone. Their eyes are the colors of their souls.)

This is Maran, Andros' pet sea griffon, like how Seeraphine's Saturn has Sheba and LadyAnaconda's Toboe has Stormcall, Andros has his own mount.

Her name is pronounced as Mah-ran

For her design as a hatchling I got inspired by baby harpy eagles

She's very playful, fun-loving, and happy

When he was teen Andros took an interest in sea griffon riding, and as a 15th birthday present his parents gifted him Maran's egg. She was trained as a domesticated animal and when she came of age to be ridden on both her and Andros were trained in the ways of riding. Andros has a strong bond with his sea griffon, he dotes on her constantly and they go to the ocean for some riding together, and Maran loves her owner, she will playfully tackle Andros or lick him.

Just a doodle of Andros swimming under the ocean of Xemmeshia, I've been doing some swimming lately before its fall, and still want fall to come because I'm getting bored of summer. Anyways, biologically albatrosses can hold their breath underwater for 52 seconds, fun fact as Andros is a black-footed albatross featherling. 🙂
