2. Did you always like this character?

Absolutely not, and I'm kind of ashamed about that tbh

When TFATWS came out, I was a John Walker hater for the exact reasons the show wanted me to be, but honestly I look back and just feel so propagandized

Since then, my frontal lobe has developed more and I realize how well-written of a character he is

I really feel as though MCU John is a stellar example of the predatory nature of the American military (or just modern military at large) and I feel so sad I didn't see that all along

12. If you could write effortlessly and as much as you wanted, what story (s) would you write for this character?

I would probably want to do like a fantasy/medieval AU with a princess reader or OC and eddie who's maybe like a merchant boy or traveling artist or something else below her level (kind of like cheerleader!reader but way elevated)

Or I'd want to do like a really good Steddie fic dealing with like internalized homophobia and everything of the 80s

honestly tho i'd also just love to be able to write eddie fics as good as As You Wish by @corroded-hellfire , June Baby by @luveline , or like half of the eddie AUs by @oneforthemunny those are all some of my all-time favourites

I just came out of his ass, it's great in there. If you're paying to see a celebrity on Oscar night or even Oscar week, you should prepare for the possibility that they might just cancel.

Any rising actor is going to choose the biggest night in Hollywood, perfect for networking, creating connections, and just having fun, over a random convention full of people who have honestly never respected him.

Joseph is the same dude, he probably got PR trained to the high heavens and is probably really really tired. He was jumping back to back to back on events. Gladiator II press tour, MegaCon (where he and Jamie got yelled at AGAIN), Fantastic 4 live trailer, Oscars after party which im assuming was networking/promoting Warfare, then fashion week. I literally just saw someone on Twitter say hes not the same and that hes white ghetto because *checks note* shaves his head. WILD statment! man, these anons act like they known him since childhood sometimes. "HE HAS A BODY GUARD! HES NOT THE SAME HES SO MEAN NOW WAHHHH!" YEAH! ID HOPE HE DOES! cause some of his fans are dead ass CRAZY!! lets not forget someone DOXED him and found his house or his parents house, when he blew up from ST. I'll give you a 2-in-1 for this ask because they're from the same fic lol, it's from Tipsy, one of my eddie x reader fluff fics.

“You walk around without any change? What if you needed to call someone?” You rolled your eyes like his assumption was the most nonsensical thing you’d heard all day.  “Of course I have change, Eddie. You need it for gumball machines.”

After thinking for a moment, you finally made a decision on the situation. You looked up at Eddie, tears pricking at your eyes. “Can we say goodbye first?”  Eddie blinked. He could see that you were drunk and emotional, so he tried to tread lightly when he responded. “Say goodbye? To the makeup?” You nodded once more, and Eddie just went along with it.

So, both of those parts are based off of things I actually do lol

I always have quarters on me because one of my favourite local restaurants has a big gumball machine and I get one almost every time I go hehe

And I also say goodbye/thank you to my makeup before I take it off, mostly when it's really good or something special like concert makeup. Maybe it's the Canadian politeness in me but I believe manners and niceties are the KEY to life

everyone is acting like he personally booked a convention and cancelled it himself. he has an agent who booked it, and there was a lapse in schedules. That's okay, that's life.

It's not that big of a deal. He's an actor, maybe he got a late invite to the afterparty or something. It's fine.
