This is the best part. I'm still kind of in shock and this happened over 48 hours ago. So I get uncomfortably high so I can deal with the con crowd.

Then they show your photo number on the screen which you register for that morning and you get up and get in line, boom. Photos. Real easy. Only thing that was lol.

So in the middle of the cosplay contest, my number group is called. I'm freaking out, randomly talking to other nerds about how freaked I am. The girl in front of me goes right in for a ROC hug.

I thought it was genius. So my turn! I look and act like I wanna run away. Barely inch towards them and go to hug Renee and freeze lol.

Then Lucy pulls me in for a hug, "come here, baby!" Rubs my back. Then Renee hugs me.

So that's my genuine reaction to Xena and Gabrielle hanging on me like that. All I could think of to do was...Michael Jordon shrug. Lol.

It really feels like hearing two besties reminiscing on stage. They're great and each other's hype woman. 😭

So yea. Forgot my phone at home but gonna post all the pics from #xenacon.

And include some tidbits from their panel. I only paid to see Renee and Lucy things and had to miss out on the rest bc xenacon is too gd expensive.

$100 per seat for general admission. Why no, there were no seats for GA but the last 6 rows (out of like 20-30 rows lol). I'm not done talking about Creation. Working class fans deserve to see Xenacon too.

To put it in perspective it costs me 2K total, took me a year to save. And I still could not afford more than a one day pass or to leave the Burbank Marriot lol.

They could stream, sell DVDs, so much to allow others to have the experience.

So...story time!

Con made me love Renee even more. She's so sweet and sassy. I love her vest. I have a similar one I forgot at home. We could have matched.

She brought Steven Sears up to talk when she spotted him. They were telling stories. SO MANY YOUNGER OR NEW XENA FANS. They were all fairly new to it and many of them in it for its queer heart and purity.

They asked Renee and Lucy stuff like...what do we do? The world sucks. One question was so deep...Renee's answer: Holy shit!

Lol. She's great. I love her honesty and really felt like she was a fellow Texan. She talked about how she's always been a bit of a hippie. And a hippie living in Texas, yup. She gets it.
