You could argue it is. It mostly consists of being punched with electricity repeatedly, and at one point someone does get their eye shot on accident. I don't remember too many other details

MGS3/Snake Eater is on the 3DS's eshop if you have one, I'd recommend it for a starting point! Do beware if you have trouble with torture, it has that in skippable cutscenes

i don’t have one, but it is on my list of things to eventually get. is the torture graphic?
