Dating someone as reckless as Ethan had always been hard on Dylan. Between worrying about his own aversion to any form of touch on his bad days, to worrying about Ethan being hurt on one of his more adventurous days was exhausting. Being completely enamoured with a boy with ADHD was one of the toughest things he had ever done.
Then there were days like this one, days where the world completely slowed down. Dylan had taken a day off from his job at his dad’s restaurant to have a bit of a break from all the people he had to interact with. Ethan had taken it upon himself to join him on his day of relaxation. They had put in a film, Dylan knowing it was the only thing that kept his boyfriend under control. In a moment of complete silence, he looked over at the slightly older boy and gave him a small warm smile. He moved his hand to the other’s and laced their fingers together, not saying a single word. He turned his attention back to the small television but kept his hand in the boy’s he loved so much.
