A Quick Guide to Drawing Faces!

Awhile back, I was asked (by one @stuckinthewrongstory, I recall) for a small tutorial on how I draw the way I do...

I’ve never really tried to put into words a line-by-line process for how I draw before (especially since my process involves roughly drawing lines in the same place repeatedly until I get exactly the angle I want, then erasing the excess) but this time I’m going to go for it with something simple: The face!

Kaori Risol, wielder of the cursed blade Muramasa, and princess of the Kingdom of Risolia, notable for her skills in using kicking attacks in combat.

Avi and Mari Harriet, twin sisters raised in the art of battle, who spend their days fighting together in arenas across the world. Avi wields a lance said to break any defense, and Mari, a shield said to block all offense.

And finally, Lynda Silverstar, a college librarian, moonlighting as a mercenary in her spare time. Her expert eyesight lets her feel at ease whether at home with a good book, or aiming down the sights of her buster rifle!
