"You're so in love with Kuroha, it's obvious."
Send my muse "You're so in love with _____, it's obvious" for their reaction.
It is a ridiculous, such ridiculous question.
A carefree and gentle laugh escapes her lips as the words float in middle of the air, the delicate features of the female showing a thoughtfulness that erases all the childish and naïve traces from her youthful appearance.
Yet, she does have to admit, it sparkles her interest, and makes her wonder where that inquiry comes from because, perhaps, she has grown attached to the creature that is labelled as her opposite, since he is the ‘villain’ and she is the ‘hero’.
Besides, when she thinks of what is known as ‘love’, the silhouette of ebony hues and jet black hair comes like a summer breeze, cold and harsh words piercing her accompanied with clumsy and nervous gestures.
Is she fond of that in the way one wants to spend their life time as long as they live or is it merely because she clings to the pretense of innocence? That’s a question she’ll think later, right now, the present question is what matters.
“Am I?” Rethorical is useful, since she has never been someone known for her honesty, that is one trait that makes her known as a liar, along with Shuuya. “When does the line of attachment and love start, I wonder?”
For a brief, concise moment, the naïve and cheerful façade she has adopted since her departure from the Never Ending World is dropped to show her the colors of the so called ‘hero’ of the tragedy. Chocolate hues are tainted into red scarlet a single eyebrow raised as a mischievous smile graces over her lips.
Subtle words that show repugnance from the snake and taunting from the human, each encounter in this abyss always leading to a confrontation, yet one that is favoring in a bizarre and inexplicable way, showing the similarity of the other. As she told him once, she does not hate him, what is ironically amusing is she has grown attached to his presence.
“That I wish closure does not mean I’ll break down in tears for not having him mock me.”
What a wonderful liar, surely, Shuuya must have learn a few tricks from her.
