Headcanon that Dick doesn’t have any of his family records. He has absolutely no idea what his family’s medical history is. They were nomadic, essentially, didn’t keep or record anything like that. The only link he has is to his one living Uncle who lives in Romania, but they don’t talk.

Because of all of this, Dick is hesitant to be the biological father if he and Wally try for kids with a surrogate. He doesn’t know if he’ll pass anything down to them, and it scares him.
