The amount of highly energetic beings in this realm was astounding; but few had really caught his attention. This woman had an aura similar to the gods and divine spirits that roamed his own world and so, unable to appease his curiosity, he approached.
“Few are the eternal beings in this realm; your energy reminds me of the ones my friends possessed, yet I know we haven’t met in the past.”, PAUSE “Are you native from this world?”

He could not believe it had taken him THIS LONG to recognize the Traveler’s energy; he even came to doubt his own abilities, but now, the faintest of energies was perceived by the adeptus. A quick glance to very well-known expressive eyes had him realized he was right all along, but... was the young hero new to this realm or was his known energy mostly extinguished?
Xiao stalked from the branches of a nearby tree and once he got sure this was the right person, he spoke up with soft yet stern voice. “AETHER”, he called. “You are here as well”.

Xiao is always respectful and even softer when addressing his lord; head is bowed down in respect even after so many centuries of knowing each other. “My intention is never to pry and much less into your thoughts, but I couldn’t help but wonder if you are actively looking for a way out of here or if you are simply waiting for things to move on their own”. The last bit probably sounded harsher that intended, but Xiao had never been one to be too sensible with his words.

Xiao had promptly showed up ( as he always did ) and paid no mind to whatever reaction people around could have had. Stern air as always surrounded him and his eyes still seemed to reflect the light of the lanterns that each year showered around Liyue; probably a reminiscence of his homeworld that still lingered in his soul.
“This is atypical of adepti, of me... but I’m afraid I need your assistance”.
