Favorite book: A CLOCKWORK ORANGE<3333 if anyone wants to steal my heart, speak Nadsat to me hahaha. 

Favorite artist/band: Zhang Yun Jing <333 and a bajillion bands tbh. and other singers too... I have too many faves but Zhang Yun Jing is the first one who popped into my head.

Dream job: my dream job as a kid was to be a poet and novelist. I still love writing but I don’t wanna make a career out of fiction writing anymore. My dream job is something that will make the world a better place! And hopefully I’ll enjoy doing it. >w< orrrrrr fashion styling????? Public relations?  I’M NOT SURE WHAT MY DREAM JOB IS TBH.

When did you create this blog: 2008??

What made you decide to get tumblr: my first Tumblr blog was @rochu, which used to be this. and xiaorawr used to be a side blog. but then I moved everything to @rochu sideblog and turned rochu into @xiaorawr and here we are~

Why did you choose your url: I wanted something quirky and unique and I used to be OBSESSED with the sound RAWR so I decided a little rawr would be cute. And the pinyin for little in Mandarin is xiao so that’s cool. I speak Teochew, not Mandarin, but there’s no pinyin for Teochew so I don’t know how to romanize “small” in my native tongue. Phonetically, it would be like “soye.”

Is it bad that Zootopia reminded me of Daiya and Miyusawa??? seriously though I kept drawing comparisons between Judy and Eijun and then it kept escalating and PARTNERS and the movie also made me cry a few times

Countries you’ve lived in: USA, Switzerland (study abroad)


Languages you speak: 潮州话 (Chao Zhou / Teochew), English, Français (French). My first language was actually Teochew since my grandparents don’t speak English (I can only speak Teochew/Chao Zhou and I can’t understand Mandarin at all. I can’t read or write in Chinese either. xD;; I can understand some Taiwanese though! Teochew is pretty similar to Taiwanese.) 


Fav film of 2015: THE GOOD DINOSAUR. I was not expecting much when I went to see it with @prince-derse and @deadgh0ul but I legit cried several times and it was so beautifully animated--!!!! 


Last article you read: an article in Le Monde; I can’t remember which one because I read a lot of French news articles XD;;

Last person you dreamed of: I can’t even remember. I’ve been having really abstract dreams lately. (like just sounds or symbols/images and no actual people ??? or if there’s a person, they have no face.) I’m a lucid dreamer so I guess I could make these dreams less abstract next time. xD Throw in some actual people.


Any recurring dreams: I have 3 dreams that have recurred since childhood. One of them feels incredibly long (it feels like the timeline is 6 months) and I’ve always been scared to mess around with it so I just let that dream take its course. It has happened 7 times so far, but has only been completed 3 times.

  
Any phobias/fears: I don’t think I have any phobias. I’ve been terrified of butterflies since I was in preschool though. I’m not as scared of them anymore, but I still avoid living ones. (If they’re dead or fake, I don’t mind.) I also have a fear of dying alone. @_@ 


How would your friends describe you: I’ve been called a cinnamon roll (I DON’T KNOW WHY). Also that I talk too much. 


How would your enemies describe you: that I’m short??? even though I’M NOT SHORT?????


Would you take a bullet for someone: It depends on who! But yes, there are people I would take a bullet for. 


If you had money to spare what would you buy first? get a new phone and a better phone plan OTL

When you have a sucky day and have no idea how you’re going to survive tomorrow... and @miyukousawa sends you a MIYUSAWA FIC TEASER complete WITH SEIDOU’S NEW PRECIOUS FIRST-YEAR BABIES. 

This doesn’t change the fact that today was terrible and painful and I’m stuck wearing my leg splint all night and I have to get up at 3am in the morning, but you boosted my mood. ;w; THANK YOU.

1. What one movie do you wish you could watch for the first time again. 

>> The Sixth Sense. Because I want to see if I’d still be shocked by it now. (When I saw it as a kid, I was literally FREAKING OUT over that movie’s ending because I did NOT see that ending coming. At the time, it was like the coolest plot twist in the world. xD)

2. Where would you want to live, given the chance?

>> By the beach! I love the ocean. <333

3. Which historical figure would you like to have dinner with? 

>> LE CHEVALIER D’EON. Ahhhhhh... all the questions I could ask you. And then maybe I can rewrite my seminar paper. I’ve already written multiple French dissertations on le Chevalier d’Eon oops..... « L’Entretien avec Le Chevalier d’Eon ~! D’Eon de Beaumont ? Lia de Beaumont ? Homme ? Femme ? Genre-fluide ? » 

4. What was your favorite book 5 years ago? Now? 

>> It was, and still is, A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess. <3 (If someone wants to speak Nadsat to me, PLEASE DO) One of my favorite quotes from the book: “The trombones crunched redgold under my bed, and behind my gulliver the trumpets three-wise silverflamed, and there by the door the timps rolling through my guts and out again crunched like candy thunder. Oh, it was wonder of wonders...”

>> Dragonfruit~ <333 ... Or Durian. I can’t decide.

6. Given the choice, would you rather read the book or watch the movie?

>> Can I have both please? I usually prefer the book but there are some cases when I prefer the movie... But in any case, I like to be engaged with both!

>> Red!

8. Do you have any stuffed animals? What are they? 

>> I have stuffed animals, but most of them are at home-home (not at my dorm). The ones I have at my dorm are: Precious Number Two (KUROBAS PUPPY), a mini Applejack, a mini Hello Kitty, and Miyuki Kazuya. 

9. What is your favorite comfort food? 

>> Ice cream~!!!

>> Best Friend by The Toy Box. >///> omg I choreographed a dance to this back in middle school or high school  and I hate to admit this ahHHHHH BUT I still listen to this song on occasion
