A few kingdom hearts ocs that I made a long while back. They’ve slowly grown and adapted into being full fledged characters as my love of kingdom hearts itself has grown. Here we have a pair of siblings, the rough and tumble younger sister Alice and her older more level headed sister Ariana. They come from twilight town, and little do they know of the legacy they have in their family as their father’s past comes to haunt them. During the same time as KH1, these two, and two more of their friends (ocs who are owned by my best friendo @marshmallow-vulpes ), end up on a crazy adventure none of them saw coming. With Alice using her trusty hammer and Ariana weaponizing her struggle bats, adding in a bit of magic thanks to their party’s local Mage-Ex-Machina, they’re able to fight against the darkness they witness in each world as they fly through space in their Totally-Not-Stolen-Just-Borrowed-Gummiship. After a series of fortunate events and happy accidents, their little adventure ends tragically as they fall to darkness due to no fault of their own but simply Bad Timing. Which brings about the creation of their nobodies, Xicale and Anixara (yeah I know), as well as the nobodies of their two friends, each of which go through their own adventures in being somewhat of an experimental process and other such nonsense before entering into the Org.XIII as sort of back ups for Saïx and Demyx(I was freaking out when Xemnas told us The Truth) respectively, and Xigbar(yes we both freaked out when we saw the ending of 3) and Roxas for their friends. After many shenanigans and much tom foolery, some how Alice, Ariana, and their friends are able to be brought back via plot convenience and Light-Magic-Ex-Machina. With new friends and old, somebodies and nobodies work together to traverse the crazy realms and ride the waves of a plot line people have gone mad trying to decipher. Will they survive the clusterfudge of KH3 or will their luck finally run out? I have no idea but I sure have a blast making up insane theories and silly backstories for these nerds with my friend, and really isn’t that the fun of getting into a series?
I made Anixara back when I first got into kingdom hearts as a sort of crazy self insert oc who ended up taking a life of her own. As time went on she became more than some silly joke character to me, and in working on her I was able to create her somebody, and I even gave her a sister. Even when her somebody shares my name, these characters have their own life now, backstories I never would have thought of before, and in general I still have a fun time with them. Now all four of them hold a special place in my heart.
It’s been 9 years since I first entered into the crazy world of kingdom hearts, and in a funny way it’s thanks to these characters that I feel like I understand the entire story far better than I should, as just trying to find places to fit them in caused me to have to buckle down and study the whole plot line. I’ll probably try and design outfits for them in kh3 later.
