Quickly making a ref for Xiktali in time for ArtFight

A short, 6 page comic to serve as a teaser to a more long term comic I'm currently working on. This is my first real, serious effort to making a comic and I'm pretty happy with the end result for having no prior practice in making comics.

This little vignette this serves both as a form of foreshadowing and setting the stage for the world the comic will take place in and the conflicts that may be present in the story to come.

Last portrait for my Ertakar team, Xiktali. It feels so nice to have clear portraits and colors for the whole team.

Testing out some techniques to use. I didn't like adding color so it's just black and white. I probably should have actually looked at medical rooms before drawing this but whatever.

I have dozens of other characters I need to make portraits for but who do I make first? The brand new character that has no name. Whelp
