Strange creatures 1.
Starting where I left off. Made this in the summer of 2015. I finally decided to upload it after a round of colour fixing.
Queen Another one from the summer of 2015. I wanted to create a series before uploading this. Oh well.

Postmodern storytelling The name for this keeps changing(it was ‘connections and storytelling’ before hwleym). I can’t believe I hadn’t uploaded this before.
I made this illustration for The Gaysi magazine - India’s first queer magazine. They wanted me to create an illustration for a ‘colouring book’ feature within the magazine. Phew, saved me time!
As a magazine is a medium for communication and creating dialogue I took my own twist on those two keywords. So, the illustrations has two aspects.
1. Conversations : A long exchange of dialogue often becomes complex layered and abstract. An outsider to the conversation may be forced to put together shards of conversation floating around and construct their own narrative or sequence.
2. Smartphones : As smartphones act as a medium of conversation now more than ever before we see voices, dialogues and imagery moving from the physical space between people to the one inside their heads. Mashing these two ideas together was how I came up with Connections and sto- uh - I mean, Postmodern storytelling.
