sangyoon bounced happily around the cafe, making sure everything was alright in the shop. they were going to an more open place but she wanted to meet xiujin her e so they wouldn't miss each other. "sangyoon, he'll be here soon lets go outside." gigi didn't have to raise her voice, though easily excitable he listened well. the small boy made his way over and out the door with gigi following closely behind. it wasn't too cold or hot outside so they were both able to dress comfortable. "who are meeting mommy?" "a friend of mine, i haven't seen him and we're gonna meet up today and he's going to meet you okay?" sangyoon nodded his head a few time then went back to walking around in small circles, making himself a bit dizzy.

sangyoon didn't have to wait for long, just a little while later he arrived. they were close enough, but she wasn't sure how xiujin would react to her hugging him. instead she offered a small wave and held sangyoon's hand. "it's nice to finally meet you..in person. we're in front of my store right now but we're going to eat somewhere else. i brought my song along if that's okay?" at that, sangyoon stepped forward and bowed a little to the other. "hello, i'm yoo sangyoon. nice to meet you."

autumn was on its way, if not already here, so it was time to switch things up in c&c.

for a good two hours, she’d been trying out some new recipes, her nose buried in a cookbook for a majority of the morning. so far she had made a number of pastries, ranging from apple pie to cardamon tarts. but there was no one to taste them; she was certain the waiter outside was full from the stuff he already tried. now, she stood before the stove, carefully watching her pot of sugar turn into caramel.

which reminded her that she did have a personal taste tester.

switching off the stove, she pulls out her phone with one hand and stirs in the rest of the ingredients with the other.

she pockets her phone, sure that he would turn up to assist her. humming to herself, she pours the batter in the cake tin, popping it into the oven right after. after cleaning her hands, she takes a peek at the situation outside the kitchen through the small window at the door. there wasn’t quite a lot of people, as their rush hour had just ended. when the waiter passes by, she flashes him a small smile and a thumbs up.

it would probably take some time for xiujin to arrive, so she cuts herself a slice of cardamon tart and takes a bite before recoiling at the taste. “far too much cardamon...” she mumbles, sliding the plate away from her sight.

The sleeves extended over her hands. She could pull them up and have them bunch up at the elbow, but the warmth they offered was too nice to ignore. She would have to make do with the sweater paws. Xiujin wasn’t one to pick up on the small details sometimes, so she wondered how obvious she’d been for him to lend her his sweater like this. The fabric was still warm from the contact of his skin. Her cheeks flushed. The sharp transition from the cold to warm was like going home after being outside for too long.

She waved and flopped the end of the sleeve at his arm to get his attention. “Xiujin-ie, thank you.” Her head tilted with curiosity. “But what are you going to do if you get cold now?”

“Do you think you could write a song with me in the future?” I had to come back and add the reasoning behind this because it sounded rude upon a second glance LOL It’s not because she doesn’t like his style of writing or anything. It’s because of the fact that she’s completely overwhelmed by it. She’s inspired and wants to interact with him through writing and composing a song but she’s also very, very insecure because she knows she’s not as good as him. On top of that she feels as though it’d feel like she’s taking advantage of his friendship by asking for this when other people PAY him for his skills

“Then let’s go to bed, don’t feel bad,” Yixuan tossed his friend a pillow and helped take the guitar from his hands. He understood that the other was tired from their adventures that day. They did walk around a lot and writing songs together wasn’t exactly easy.

“Do you wanna sleep on my bed tonight?” He offered. “I don’t mind taking the couch, or we can do anything you want,” He suggested, wanting his friend to be as comfortable as possible.
