77. Our characters doing something they thought was impossible together.
"You're an idiot." Minseok's critical tone drawled from behind him after he'd explained the highly phenomenal duty that he was on the verge of fulfilling.
"This is serious stuff," Myungsoo muttered absently, the impenetrable focus evident in his voice. Ever since that glaring ball of fire, the sun, had risen over the horizon, his determination had been unyielding to succeed. Now, it was only peaking. A nauseating crack from his shoulder sent him into a fit of whimpers, retiring his arm from the angle he'd been holding it in, lifting his opposite hand to massage the tensed muscle.
"Oh, right. So important," the younger mumbled sarcastically, crossing his arms over his chest. Myungsoo had basically forced him to grant him company for the past three hours, and it was no secret that the flighty man had a draining personality. Over the seemingly thrashing movements of the other male, Minseok was grateful that the echoing sounds of footsteps weren't present. He wouldn't be caught dead with such an embarrassment. He heaved a sigh once a tumbling noise reached his ears, wondering in disbelief, "Are you really on the ground?"
"Shut up," Myungsoo gritted out, backside pressed flush against the fractured road, various debris and pebbles digging into his flesh. A few grunts of his own followed, twisting his body in any possible contortion to achieve his goal — a really dumb goal, at that.
"Fine. I'll just ignore the moron trying to lick his elbow in the middle of the street," Minseok decided with resolve, and the older could sense that a sliver of his blunt behavior had rubbed off on the male. That was positive, though. Anyone would beg to reach such perfection that was Kim Myungsoo.
"I don't think my tongue's long enough," the man sprawled in the dust conjectured, giving his joints a rest again. "God, you'd think making out with all these people would do something..." He redirected his gaze to the individual standing a yard or two away from him, expression shifting into a more suggestive one although the other obviously couldn't view it. "Hey, maybe you could help me out." It wasn't really an offer or suggestion. It was a demand, in no other than the kindest light.
"Uh... I don't think—" Minseok's voice raised an octave, the young man chewing on his lower lip before backing away a few precautionary inches.
"Come on," Myungsoo whined manipulatively, climbing to his feet and brushing the ashes and dirt from his soiled clothing. Persuasively, he added, "It's all about teamwork."
Not even allowing the other to stammer a response in rejection, the taller advanced forward and locked his fingers around the younger's slim wrist before an escape route was planned. Hey, if he was going to conquer the impossible, he would need a generous serving of assistance, or whatever it was he was requesting. Leaning down, he captured the male's lips in a gentle kiss, his left hand raising to secure behind the boy's neck to assure there was no resistance. His tongue pressed past Minseok's lips to taste and delve into the warm cavern. He kept at it, recalling the initial purpose of his. Even after his lungs ached for a fresh supply of oxygen, he broke past the limit, feeling considerably lightheaded once he parted from the other.
Smirking to himself, he dismissed the irritated expression before him and stretched his forearm partially behind his head, poking his tongue out experimentally.
"Hey, it worked!"
