Quiet and cautious feet walked almost on tiptoe down the smooth halls. Each step was placed carefully, trying to avoid any sound. Even if it was her home, her mansion, her manner, Akito wasn’t necessarily comfortable ‘alone’ in the Sohma house. She had never been to this part before too, the identical sliding doors were unfamiliar to her young eyes, frightening her. Yet, and at the same time, there was something intriguing about it all, like a cat exploring it’s territory. She crept from room to room, peering in to see what was ‘hers’. For it was ALL hers wasn’t it? She was God, a child to be loved. Everyone should be living their lives in order to please her, in order to serve her. That meant everything within Sohma house, everyone within Sohma house, belonged to her. ‘
Delicate and tiny fingers pushed the next door open, peering in to examine what lay behind closed walls. However, what caught Akito’s eye this time, instead of a book or plant, was a child. A little child, younger than her and all alone.
❝ What are you doing in here. ❞ Akito said, a sudden surge of complicated emotions urging her to move forward, causing her to slide the door completely open. ❝ Who are you? What are you doing in my home? ❞
