WHY was it that she inherited both of their stubbornness? Granted, it was inevitable, but that didn’t mean he had to like it. She was making this harder than it needed to be. Restoring Sora to his old self was taking much longer than he had hoped—but then again, that was his own fault. If he took her back to DiZ by force, this would have been over by now. There was nobody else to blame except himself for being PATIENT, and letting her choose when it was time to go. He was told not to care at all, and yet, whatever was left of her existence, he wanted her to enjoy it while it lasted—if only because of her resemblance to his best friends.

The teen piled up regret upon regret onto his shoulders, a burden he willingly took as if to repent for his wrongdoings. After all, if he hadn’t been searching for the answer to his questions, none of this would have happened. The two people he cared about the most wouldn’t have been put into danger, nor would they have needed help to become whole again. ❝ So what are you going to do now? Or are you still trying to figure that out? ❞ Gritting his teeth, the questions came out as calmly as he had hoped. The storm dwelling within him successfully repressed. If only for the time being.
