Daniella’s life became a series of same events, so when Juan, a guy she worked for wasn’t picking up, her routine was suddenly broken and she didn’t know how to move on with the day. TV her druggie mother left on all night, as if she was the one who had to pay the bills for it, kept going on and on about cops shooting the innocent. Riots on the streets and general panic that was now filling the streets.
Her sister was supposed to be home half an hour ago, though she rarely let the younger one know, she actually cared enough about her education to learn schedule by heart. Daniella was sharp, she was cold and not one to mess around with. With her reputation and a promising future in one of the strongest street gangs in eastern Florida, her words were never taken slightly, and neither were her threats. Gabriella, on the other hand, was one of those very few people who still constantly tested her limits.
It wasn’t that Dani was lazy, and she wasn’t stupid either. But her train ride for college left long time ago due to a shitty social group she belonged to. So her sister, well she was the one who had to make it. Who had to make it clean, through and through, and she’d be damned before letting Gabi ruin the possible future she had ahead of her, one Dani was willing to spend all her money on.
“Gabi pick up the fucking phone you bitch! I know you’re not in class...” she left on the voicemail, before leaving the house. Something was up with the phones she figured, it seemed this general panic that hung in the air has taken it’s toll. Deciding not to leave her sister hanging, or let her take a public transport when the streets were this crowded -- not because she was in fear girl couldn’t take care of herself, but because she was in fear girl would actually join up the riots -- she hoped on her large motorcycle and drove all the way to the closest public high school.
It didn’t take her too long to spot the girl she grew up with. “Gabi! Come on, hurry up!”

the worst part is when you ask him his eyes just get really big and glassy and he just blinks for a few minutes like he's trying to remember but then changes the subject.
