Merida spurred Angus through the forest, they were well out of there usual area. She didn't truly recognize this bit of forest, but there was plenty of snow and things to see. Merida had her bow over her shoulder, she didn't have any of her own targets out here so she didn't want to send arrows whizzing through the forest and disrupting others that might be in the area.

Slowing down she stopped and slid of Angus' back to give him a rest. They'd been out all day and the horse would need a bit of a rest. Merida heard some movement nearby in the forest and moved towards the sound to discover what it was.

"Anyone out there?" she called, hand on Angus to make sure the horse didn't spook. He didn't normally shy away but if it was an animal like a bear or wolf she'd rather he ran away with her than leaving her.

Sven hardly ever gets embarrassed but if you ever did want to embarrass him, all you would have to do is bring up a time he did something stupid or completely overreacted to something.
