"He’s wonderful.” Aurora agreed with a dreamy sigh, smiling at the thought of her betrothed. Her parents and his father both agreed they were much to young to be truly engaged and she was a bit disappointed, but it did make sense. Phillip may have been trained as a knight, but he had a bit to learn about being a king according to their parents.
Shaking away the thoughts of her beloved, Aurora noticed the dazed look the little boys were giving her. She covered her smile with her hand, actually quite used to this reaction if she was pressed to admit it. “No, such handsome young men could never be naughty! I’m sure they’re like little knights in training!” Aurora insisted as she bent down a tiny bit to tease, her amusement growing as the little boys all seemed to scramble forward.
The princess looked up when she heard Queen Elinor’s voice and her violet eyes lit up. She beamed at the redhead beside her, nodding eagerly. “That would be lovely. Perhaps tomorrow I can see the grounds?” She asked hopefully.
"Mm," was all Merida could reply. She didn't see the fuss about boys or men, they just didn't interest her. She didn't want to encourage her to explain what wonderful meant. She was sure she'd eventually hear more about him on Aurora's visit anyways.
She frowned heavily at her brothers as they acted daft. They were plotting something she could feel it. Merida wished that Aurora would heed her warning, they were going to do something to the blonde princess and it wouldn't be pretty. It never was. She shook her head at them in warning, dragging her finger across her throat. She was not putting up with their antics.
She dropped her finger quickly as Aurora turned to look at her flashing a giant fake smile. "Aye," she said, "Do ye wish to start there then?" she asked, leading Aurora away from her brothers.
