Omg I don't want to do that.  The party always stops when I walk in. But send me an ask and I'll ask you questions if you want them.  But only if you want questions like, "Do you think Vin Diesel can cut 2" thick steel piping using only his cuticles?" because that's definitely the type of questions I'm going to ask.

What is your favorite day of the week?: MAN, it's funny because when I was younger I would be so quick to say FRIDAY, but I think the novelty wore off with the jaded realization that Monday is always right there. Any day of the week when I'm not in school, basically.

How many siblings do you have?: Only child represent.

Will the World end by fire or ice?: I think civilization as we know it might end with a cold snap into another ice age, but the physical WORLD will probably end with the dramatic heatdeath of our sun or universe.

What is your favorite dance?:  The awa odori - the fool's dance. It has sentimental value to me, plus I love the spirit and meaning behind it. They chant: "It's a fool who dances and a fool who watches; if both are fools, you might as well dance!"   

Is it wrong to invite someone over for a chicken dinner and serve them scrambled eggs?: Now that is just cruel, unless you were planning on serving KFC, in which case serving scrambled eggs as an alternative is much kinder. (AND A WIN/WIN SINCE IT'S STILL TECHNICALLY CHICKEN) 

At what age did you stop growing?: 13, maybe. I was in middle school.  At 5'2" I had attained full shrimp status.

What was your last purchase (online counts)?: A loaf of brown rice bread and broccoli, lol.

What is the most expensive thing you own?: Probably my MacPro.

What time did you go to sleep last night?: 5AM. I kind of plodded through the day the way a zombie would walk through a field of corpses.  

What was your first job?: I was a design intern at my university.

Who’s the better villain: Loki or Khan?:   Well, I think the best villains are the ones who use their particular strengths to their advantage in every situation and frequently come out on top thanks to their intelligence and ability to manipulate those around them.  But perhaps more importantly, I think the best villains are the ones with a morally ambiguous code or belief that fills them with a driving purpose to do the thing that they think is right.  Both Loki and Khan have these characteristics, and I'll be honest here: I don't know if I am familiar enough with either canon to compare and contrast them with confidence and give a fully informed response.  I do think they're both very effective villains in their respective universes, however.  They're both immensely complex, tragic, and deliciously villainous with a touch of goodness that humanizes them just enough for us to connect, to make us wonder how deep our own darkness lies.  I think that's the mark of a truly successful villain. Perhaps there doesn't need to be a greater distinguisher than that.

My Questions

1) Is your room clean or messy? Depends on who you ask. I say it's messy but others say it's so much more tidy than their room. I have clutter on my dresser but very littel on the floor.

2) If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? Israel. I won't go because of the war and dangers, but I would love to visit such an ancient place, to see the locations (or proclaimed locations at least) of biblical events, New and Old testament.

3) What is your favorite movie and why? What a question! There are so many answers to this, but I usually go back to the two I've watched the most: Gone with the Wind and The Wizard of Oz. 1939 was a banner year for movies. I watched The Wizard of Oz on a loop when I was about 5. I love the music, I'm still astounded that the movie was made in the 30's, and I probably have that movie to blame for my love of the fantasy genre. As for Gone With The Wind, I first saw it when I was 7 and have watched it just about every year, at least once, since then. What's not to love? Again a movie I'm astounded was made in the 30s. The acting was superb. It manages to be both overly-dramatic and well done. I am fascinated by the fact that I actually feel sympathy for the confederacy (something I don't usually do) when I watch it, and what I look for in a mate comes (in part) from my favorite line by Rhett: "You should be kissed. And often. And by someone who knows how." *swoon*

4) What imperfections or little quirks about yourself could you see someone loving about you? My friends say that my bluntness is the reason they love me. They know I don't play games and I say what I mean and I mean what I say. I've also been told that my addictive personality is endearing. Strange I know, but apparently I'm 'cute' when I start obsessing become passionate about a new book/movie/show/song.

5) If you could do anything you wanted to, what would that be? Like for a job that gets paid? I'd be a full time writer. For a job that gets unpaid? I have a desperate want to be a stay at home mom. For literally anything I wanted to? I'd take a year and travel.

6) Do you cry at happy endings? I'm more likely to cry at happy endings than I am at sad.

7) If you had to chose one mythical creature to be, which would you choose? A pegasus. Because flying horse, hello.

8) What is the one thing you most want in life? To be worthy of remembrance.

9) Where can you see yourself in ten years? Married with kids. Possibly also a foster parent.

10) Who is your favorite president? Theodore Roosevelt. Because, hello, we have "Teddy" bears because of him. (and I'm sure he was a good president as well.)

11) What do you love most in the world? God.
