Claire stopped in the doorway, so sure that she had been silent this time. Turning with a half innocent smile to the knight that had caught her. "Just stepping out to get some air..," she trailed off. Though her fancy dress exchanged for simpler clothes said differently.

He’d been alone in the auditorium while the crew was on lunch. Looking at some of the more sophisticated props, his ear pricked to the sound of crying. While at first, he was content looking at the props, his conscience couldn’t let him ignore the weeping for long, and he began searching.
Finally seeing the woman, tucked in an annex of the stage, he crouched so as not to seem threatening. “Hey… You okay in there?”
Rinnah had secreted herself off in a quiet area, trying to stay away from those who were working about. After all, wasn’t like she’d been wanting to let anyone in on her troubles. They didn’t deserve to be saddled with that, really. It was hard, trying to stifle everything, but it was obvious that she hadn’t managed to do a good enough job of it.
Her body tensed at the sound of a voice to the right, and her jaw clenched. She didn’t want to try talking straight away, wanting to calm a bit, first. There were a few moments of silence between them, before her head turned, gaze meeting his. “Yeah,” came the soft reply, with a slow nod, “Just havin’ a bit of a bad day.”

Well, this was just bloody perfect. The “cramps” that went on and off all day should have been a warning to Claire (even if it was three weeks earlier than the doctor said) after she had already had one kid. But she didn’t listen. Now her water had broken twenty minutes after she knew Peter’s show started. Thankfully Jackson had Elizabeth for the week since it was spring break for the middle school. Climbing out of bed, she reached for her phone flipping through the contacts until she landed on two of the people she trusted. One quick phone call full of words that bordered on panic, Amy and Charlie were on their way.
Amy was the first one in the penthouse as she grabbed her bag. “Charlie you go downstairs and wait for Peter’s show to be done,” she ordered.

I have a lot of them. I have favourite songs for different genres. I’d say my top three would be Old Man River from Showboat, Chocolate by Kylie Minogue, and the Michelle Ryan version of Mein Herr from Cabaret because Michelle Ryan.

The Doctor and Peter had opted for a night on the town. The TARDIS parked in a central location near one of the major busy streets, they'd gone out for dinner and a movie. When they exited the theatre, the sun had already descended below the horizon. The inky night was sprayed with stars overhead, tiny diamonds whose twinkling was barely visible in contrast with the loud buzz of neon all around them. Cars hissed past them on the wet streets nearby, slicked with rain that had erupted on Las Vegas while they'd been inside watching the movie. Holding hands, they slowly spilled into the street with the other exiting theatre-goers. The Time Lord turned to his bondmate. "You know, I don't know if we spent more time watching the movie or heckling it," he admitted, gazing at Peter through his specs. "We were starting to sound like the cast of MST3K --" Suddenly, an afterimage flashed before his eyes. Fire, fire, nothing but fire, and angry metallic voices shouting EXTERMINATE! -- The Doctor froze, staring ahead with his dark honey eyes blown wide open. @xmidorixmex
