Not really. I don’t begrudge anyone their faith, but I’m not wired that way. Secular enlightenment is where it’s at for me. But who knows, epiphany can strike any moment.

Ahhhh this one. Yes. Technically.

She’s wanted in Ishgard for aiding and healing Heretics. Or rather, ‘Griffinsong’ is wanted in Ishgard for aiding and healing Heretics. It’s a whole long thing that plays into the ‘There have been many Robin Hoods’ trope.

20 Character Design Questions - ✒️ 11. If you have characters that embody certain traits of yours—good or bad—has writing them changed how you view those traits? Has it affected you in any way?

Right, so it took a damn long time thinking about this and I’m still not too sure how to answer that. So let’s just start at the beginning, shall we?

I don’t consciously set out to give my OCs traits of mine. It’s only natural that it happens, but I never say “right, this guy will be my vessel for my personal sloth” or “she’ll be my outlet for bravery”  when writing a character.

Writing about these traits definitively has led to changes on how I view them, be it only a better understanding of the trait in question, but oftentimes it gave me either a newfound appreciation of good traits or more leniency towards negative traits.

And so, yes, it has affected me. Even if it is only in gaining knowledge.
