So. She was pretty disgusting in the way that pigeon shit plopping on your favorite flannel button shirt is disgusting; still she isn't completely repugnant and it's not like she's slapping an abundance of dollar store lipstick on that foul mouth of hers to get others to think she's someone glamorous --anyways, gross is supposed to be cool now.

          Holden's supposed to be at the movies but he fucking hates the movies and he fucking hates that movies make him fucking say things like fuck. So, he took to kicking snow instead, you can do that in the city really-- everyone just sort of does as they please and wanders around. Jaded eyes meeting her broken beyond belief external shell, the crunchy bits that everyone tries to make special. He won't say anything, never does to the murderous looking ones, and tears at the movie ticket in the depths of his relatively clean pants. Opens his mouth to talk, but doesn't.
