"C'mon, we should get that mask there...!" He gestures to the red mask hanging atop the festival stall - one from a long ago Featherman series he couldn't quite name. "Everyone knows the red one is the coolest...!"

Perhaps it had been a bit of good old fashioned holiday courage or maybe the Santa hat had emboldened him but flushed as his face was, he didn't regret kissing JB...!

He'd liked hanging out with her and she was easy on the eyes, beautiful even - so why not kiss her...?

"Maybe I had some tucked away," He too couldn't quite help the grin that formed on his face. "Merry Christmas to you too...!"

"I can walk and talk, can't I?! Just because you've been here 3 years longer than me doesn't mean I'm a baby! I'm know how to count, and I have my own bed! I'm very big, thank you!" Ozzy huffed, thinking he won this battle even though he failed his counting.

"And you're anything but amazing and beautiful! You're..." He squinted at her, "...Well--"

Ozzy paused in his steps, turning around to point at her, words already forming to say:

"...Insufferable, intolerable, arrogant--" He waved his finger at her, "Boastful, irritating, infuriating, troublesome, vexing, and--" He snapped his fingers, "Uhh.. Dumb!" He grinned. "Yeah!"

He gave her an incredulous look, his nose scrunched up in disbelief and his mouth downturned into a most petty pout. He did not like her. Nuh-uh. Her snide comments and teasing only made him madder.

"Fine, stranger lady!" He scoffed, crossing his arms. "--And I'm 5! Not a baby! I'm calling you stranger lady because you're a strange lady, not because I don't know my own letters!" He spat defensively, followed by an angry little stomp. Like a little bunny throwing a temper tantrum.

Ozzy turned away from her with a huff and continued walking along, stepping faster than usual, not caring to slow down enough for her to catch up (Though it wouldn't be of much use since he's too small to walk faster than her, anyway). He did sneak a peek back at her periodically to see if she's following. To see if he lost her, of course! Not because he's scared of being by himself.

((not sure if i should explain my rationale for the half hearts for this, but if not then it's just here for ur benefit :3

she would listen the hell out of gossip, but doesn't blindly believe it or let it influence her own opinion on people.

she can be very uplifting, optimistic, jokey, and is relentlessly down to stir up anything fun, but her outward demeanour is pretty chill.

she absolutely will do what's right!!!! ...right after laughing at your expense if the situation is funny </3 will just help in serious cases though. but also probably make a dumb joke about it afterwards

and literally any guy conventionally attractive is wonderful to her eyes, but as long as they aren't boring, her heart could not care less how someone is like in other ways. so it's not Really himbos specifically, just hot and entertaining guys in general </3))

Also, you can explain your reasoning if you want to - some people have done so before and I consider it a little bonus and a peek into your thought process, but only if you want to!

On the gossip point, that's understandable - gossip and drama can be addicting and what's important is not getting swept into it, which she doesn't.

Ah, she sounds like an amazing friend to have whenever someone's feeling down - ha, once Ryuji brings out that side of her, it'll be chaos for those two!

Honestly, that's pretty relatable - I too sometimes have a laugh at a situation or someone's misfortune, but it's usually light-hearted and only in moments of silliness, not actual serious misfortune, so I feel her on that.

Having a guy who can keep her interested is important and I'd like to think with all of his energy and confidence, Ryuji can do just that for her! Plus, he is a cutie! She's pretty adorable, herself!

" You're going to follow me?? " He sputtered, flinching away from her as if she just sneezed in his direction. He so didn't want to let this random arrogant teenager know that he was actually very much lost ! He would never ever admit it ! But then he thought about the idea of being completely alone with no help.. --and that scared him a bit more.

" Well-- Fine! " He scoffed, turning his back towards her. " Just keep your distance! I don't know what you've been touching. " He scorned, waving her off with one of his hands, but keeping his arm close to him so he doesn't accidentally touch her. Perhaps if he just walked around randomly he might find his way and she'd be proven wrong even though she was very much right! Foolproof plan.
