aurora follows kate flynn (cal’s sister) and chase windfield (mortal possessed by the mind goddess) in their attempt to survive in exile on earth d u r i n g tflc. they were part of the gang, but didn’t pick a side in the war because unlike leah and hero they actually respected tessa’s sacrifice and didn’t see it as an opportunity to place blame on the other

and kate is holly (protag of dawn)’s godmother and kind of her only good parental figure- and cal gave holly the middle name ‘dawn’ after kate-

chase was a psychology student at some university somewhere, when cal and hero tried to free the mind goddess, ophelia, from her prison at the centre of the earth. (see part 8!)

they thought they failed.

and they did....sort of.

only a small part of ophelia’s soul maneged to get out, and souls- even goddess souls can’t survive on their own. ophelia needed to find a host, or all of her soul would die.

now might be a good time to say, that ophelia adores people who have blonde/golden hair and green eyes.

people that look like her because she’s narcissistic like that.

so, a smol ophelia soul flits around for a bit, and finds a certain university campus.

so she possesses chase, (blonde hair, green eyes) with no hesitation.

luckily, chase didn’t explode (which would have happened if their souls were not compatible.

a lil while later, she finds the xonarians, they sort everything out, she helps them fight some evil things!

when tessa dies, she and kate flynn (cal’s younger sister) were the only ones who didn’t pick sides in the war, deciding to stay in the world.

she ended up getting a job at the cia as a supernatural investigator (only a select few knew of her connections to the xonarians, and none know of her possession).
