You’re doing this for yourself…the world needs balance. You can’t fight the war by yourself, Viridi, even if you have Pit’s help.
Holy gods, he is so annoying! Does Palutena need this much patience to work with him?! Complaint after complaint, smile after smile, does he ever let down? Wasn’t he used to walking these distances? He couldn’t fly so…
But was Palutena’s job this easy? Just watching him fight enemies and summon powers when he asked for them? I’d be glad to do this all day! Watching him get rolled over by a giant bowling ball, seeing him fall multiple times.

Then again, Palutena doesn’t get enjoyment from that. She actually cares about him. Of course, I do too but not to the motherly extent at all…
Palutena…did he care for her this much? His loyalty to her was unending, just like Phospora and Arlon are to me. But, does Palutena care for him this much? I know what it’s like to lead an army, but Palutena and Pit’s relationship is different. They’re so close, and while I’m close with Phospora and Arlon, they’re like my family—
Oh there’s no way I was going to think about this now. This should be the last thing on my mind. You’re doing this for Pit. Help him save Palutena so the world can be balanced. This is for balance and that’s it. I can’t possibly care for him this much–
“ And that’s the end of them! …Are we there yet? ”
Is that all he could say right now? It’s been a few stories and that’s it! He was walking this entire way, fighting through monsters…I can’t be feeling sorry for him, can I?
Absolutely not.
Maybe this wasn’t balance after all. He needs the help. He’d be alone without me.
