this is candy corn and i promise that you aren't missing out on anything lol. it's an older halloween candy that's popular in the u.s. the taste is exactly what one would expect from the ingredient list lol
ooooohhhhhhh, i've seen these before online but i had no idea what they were! they honestly look awful but i'm intrigued by them
R and Z for the reading asks pls!<3
Thank youuuu <3
R. Reading Regret
I have a few but The War of the Poor by Éric Vuillard was a big regret. It was only 80 pages but I wasted an hour of my life on it
Z. ZZZ-Snatcher (last book that kept you up WAY late)
Gentlemen & Players by Joanne Harris! I read it last year but it was the last book continued reading into the night

4, 5, 7 &12 for the 40 questions please <3
thank youuuuuuu <3
4. beer, liquor, or neither?
neither, i don't really drink alcohol tbh
5. what is the biggest impact you hope to make throughout your lifetime?
i’d just like to live as sustainably as possible. as i said in the previous answers, my research will never make an impact on literary criticism so i can only make an impact through my choices
7. puns or dirty jokes?
puns because people always react in the way you expect them to
12. what is your earliest memory?
my earliest clear memory is learning to swim in scotland when i was 4 and then going back to my swimming lessons and insisting to the instructor that i could swim and she took off my armbands and was like 'go for it then'. i don't know what would have happened if i couldn't actually swim but she did not give a fuck. i could swim though so it was fine. so that's about two weeks of memories condensed down into one single moment in my brain but yeah

not cheesy at all! you're one of my favorite mutuals and I've definitely dropped my phone in the sink at least once while reading a ridiculously long but intelligent post on ur blog. thanks for the luv, b 💛🏹💛💛💛💛💛
