Hot Wheels Drone Racerz Car Just Got Upsized by 25 Times By A Brit Inventor
I don't why, but the idea of upsizing a toy seems rather appealing...

Bit of backtracking, one of the first few videos that got me interesting in 3D printing, and eventually machining. Special shout out to James Bruton of XRobots UK. This is the start of an old project of his, and Steampunk version of HR GIger’s Xenomorph . . . he mostly finished it I think, but I don’t think he got around to show casing it. It was a great build, but then again I’m kinda biased. XD

Talk Star Wars BB-8 Build | XRobots V3
For the longest time now I have been watching James from XRobots build everything from Iron Man armour to and R5 unit, a 3D Printed Alien suit to an actual fully functional robot. Nothing has caught my attention more than his BB-8 builds...
Version one was a ball balancing robot head, which was way more technically complicated than its final appearance would have you believe. Version two seemed to be a mistake in my view. I was convinced the body needed to be a hollow ball, but James knew better. He had worked out that in actual fact, the practical BB-8 from last years Star Wars Celebration was in fact more of a wheel with half spheres on each side. You'll have to watch his videos to really understand what I mean. It's that version that he will be developing with his BB-8 Version 3 Build, which we will be following together in a new series I'm kicking off today.
Below is a playlist which is where I will be parking each episode of James' version 3 BB-8 build along with any relevant marterial he refers to in his shows. I will make every effort to include the relevant links for your reference also. Expect images and more as we watch James build, what I'm sure will amount to his master piece.
