Emma rolled her eyes a little. “It was only Charles, darling. I hardly broke a sweat.” Emma teased though that was simply a lie. If anything, it was one of the most toughest astral battles she had ever encountered and though she managed it eventually, that wasn’t to say Charles pushed her to the brink. “Besides, do you think I am laying across this lump of dirt and ruining the best thing to ever happen to you and your X-Men? Bury the thought.”

To be summoned by Scott of all people was quite a surprise to the girls. After all, Emma had always been heavily invested in them. They were her proteges. Her prized creations so to speak. If Emma was the head honcho then they were her right hand women. Scott? For what they knew, Scott was indifferent ot just put up with them because of Emma. Either way, they were about to find out since this would be their first time alone with Scott. Stepping into the room, the girls walked in, their steps in sync with the other. “You requested to see us, Daddy Summers?” The girls said together, making sure to use the silly nickname they decided to give him. “I hope this isn’t some sort of always be here for you even though I’m not your dad speech.” Phoebe added. “You have enough alternate children running around.” Sophie carried on. “Or take us on a bonding trip in your compact, fuel efficient car.” Esme finished.
