Tonight wasn’t the first time she tried to follow Vinny. She had done it once or twice, here and there, even though he had made it clear that she should stay away. She missed Vinny, that was all. He wasn’t answering her calls. He wasn’t calling her back. And honestly? It just felt good to see him.
When she arrived at her destination, she had waited a few seconds before getting out of her car. Today it was just a bar so she thought maybe it wouldn’t be too obvious if she just happened to walk into the same bar. However, she didn’t really know what she was walking into. She was only a few feet from the door when someone pulled her into the alley way. His arms were big and strong, and it was hard for her to fight him off. However, she didn’t stop until he let her go. Her screams were muffled because his hand was over her mouth, and his other hand was all over her. She was kicking, biting, flailing her arms, anything she could to try to get him off of her. It wasn’t long before the man had had enough, and threw her to the ground, his body pressing her into the cold, hard ground. She couldn’t hear what he was saying. She couldn’t focus on him. Her hands were pinned over her head, and her wrists wiggled as she tried to get free. But nothing was working. That was until her fingertips found a rather large rock, and only for a second did he let her hand go, but in that second, she bashed him in the head with the rock.
Delia hit him over and over and over again with the rock until eventually his body went limp on top of her. There was blood splattered on her face and her clothes and in her hair. Her stockings were torn and her dress was ripped and she felt like she couldn’t breathe as she laid underneath the man. She was crying and her chest was heavy and it took everything for her to push his body off of hers. She lifted herself from the ground, now kneeling next to this strange man’s body. Panicked, her eyes began to scan his injuries. She had to of just knocked him out. That had to be it. She was convinced. She didn’t hit him that hard. She was a small woman. But when she reached over to check his pulse, there wasn’t one. She fell back against the pavement, scooting away from the body. His blood was spilling from him fast and God, he was already dead. He was dead. She killed him.
She knew she should’ve called Vinny right then and there—knowing he was right inside—but she was scared and she panicked and the only thing that made sense was to get in her car and leave. So that’s what she did. She drove and drove until she found herself at Vinny’s. The house was dark, obviously, since he wasn’t there, but she parked the car on the street and walked up the walk to the front porch. She was shaking and she was scared and she felt like she was going to be sick. Her hands ran over her face, the blood mostly dried now. She stared at the door, and soon tugged her phone from her pocket. Her hands were shaking but she managed to call Vinny anyway. For once, he picked up. “Vinny? I need you, please. I’m… Something… Im standing on your front porch and I… Please Vinny. Please.” Her voice was frantic, desperate, and it was obvious that she was crying.

Mason didn't waste time buying a ticket and flying to London. Ryder told him he was an idiot to do this, but Mason didn't care. He was getting the woman he loves back into his life. Mason found out where she was staying from Brandy. He walked up to the door and rang the doorbell.
