The Meridian has found it’s way through the sand, to refill in whatever was found in what seemed to be a no man’s island, as it would be impossible to go beyond for much longer once even the wine and stale bread would be done over with. The captain was left behind with the watch leader’s to outlook the safety of the others whilst cutting up wood and watching the safety of the ship, while the rest of the crew separated into two groups: One to search for a source of fresh water they could use for consumption and the other team in obvious search for anything they could eat and possibly cook on board that could be stored. On the careful exploration that Sung-Ho’s team took to find themselves water, that they would fill barrels with and carry over their backs back to the Meridian, a shipwreck was found. The three males glanced at one another in doubts of what to do, one of them dared to run back to inform the captain without losing the chance to take along a barrel full and returned with news that had Sung-Ho himself and the other companion retrieve their weapons to have their hands to work. They were told to not only retrieve the cargo on board that cold serve them of any utility, but also to take along any survivors on board which would have their own fate decided later on. Seeing the youngest was also the strongest of not only the few, but also the full crew itself, Song-Ho told a hold of the only one that seemed alive out of the bunch they took notice of, while his companions brought as much cargo and water as they could and all then made their way back into their own ship.

“Only one on board, my captain!” The male informed as per usual had to tie the other one up for precaution, wouldn’t it be a trap.

To whomever this may concern:

I, Ki Sung Ho still find myself well. The life within the kingdom suffocated me to the point I found myself without any choice but to run. Couldn’t stand the idea of getting married just due to what we may be worth of, politic agreements or anything else aside from love and companionship itself, yet, just because I may say this, it won’t mean I simply stopped caring.

Leaving this letter behind as I follow a new way of life, hopefully will explain my reasonings and will rest those worried of me, caring truly about me, assure that nothing has happened and that I still carry you all in my heart. Including the ones within the other family to whom I had been promised to. I may not had married as most of you had wished for, but it won’t mean I mean them any harm.

As I left this letter hidden away in a secret floor compartment existent on the bar I usually went to, I feel like I can trust my way of escape with what peer may had found it. Or well, even if being unlucky in this department as well, at least I’ll surely be far enough away to be brought back...

I found my way towards the docks and somehow managed to join a pirate ship, so I’ll be sure to live new adventures! Still with a burning sensation in my gut, I’ll pridefully wear freedom as my badge within these seven seas, I’ll try to return whenever possible in secret to see how all of you are doing and if by chance, whomever finds this is willing to respond, be sure to leave a letter back by the same place you found it by, so I’m able to take a hold of it and tell you all about my endeavors.

anemone :   how does your muse view the world ;   as a cruel   &   unforgiving place ,   a land full of wonders ,   or something in - between ? where does that world view come from   (   what experiences ,   life lessons ,   etc .   ) ?  

             Hyuna:

She has no names in specific to pin point, but as she came to know more people in her life that become good friends, even if not for along time or communicating that often, she learned that it’s okay to open up and make yourself vulnerable and open in front of others. An example of this is Xuan. He might not realize it, but he helps her just as much as she also helps him. It’s refreshing to not be on her own, truly hear the experiences of someone that went through similar situations and to just learn to laugh for once and be silly instead of worrying all the time about the future due to the ghosts within the past.

She sees the world in a between, again, she still had a difficult time to put things into words and to talk about certain hard hitting topics at times and mainly if people don’t relate, but there is some good in this world just as much as there is evil, she also believes that people come to be and act a certain way due to their circumstances and upbringing, as her brother is how he is, certainly for their father, their father is worsened by the alcohol and is also toxic due to his work and past as he was raised in a mobster family, while Hyuna herself thinks she’s way more softer since she was always closer to her mother instead of the males in the family, so she took those soft traits and fair views of the world with her mother.

                Sung-Ho:

He believes that the life one wishes to have is not worth waiting for and wishing upon a star. It someone wants something in life, they should go after it. No matter how hard it seems to be. He kept hearing his father’s stories and noticed the sorrow in his tone, the longing for more of those adventures and twinkle in his eyes as stars ripped out from a distance happier life, which had him questioning the reason for why his father wouldn’t just carry on with his life the way he wanted it, while he had it, instead of living a farce instead and being a shadow of the man he used to be.

It’s a land full of wonder in his view! Simple reason: He’s half mermaid, keeps on dreaming of mermaids and has a special friend and crewmate as well, while living adventures within the deep seven seas! If that is not a world worth exploring and worth countless novels, he doesn’t know what is! Of course that there is the argument, that he left a more normal way of living and less exciting and happy life behind, but that one was long forgotten by now.

                    Woojin

For now he doesn’t think anything really changed his thoughts or views on life, but he knows he’s still young and that his ways might someday take a toll on him, but he tried to not give that too much thought as he afraid to face that type of thing one of these days, neither does he want to admit to it. He might be honest for most of the time, but doesn’t mean he would want to face certain truths.

Woojin sees the world as his oyster, full of surprises at times and new adventures, them being good or bad, but always interesting.

Biography:

Sung-ho always had the dream of being free and discovering the world, but living as an aristocrat with his high class family, which planned on marrying him off to someone he didn’t love, would ruin those dreams, as he would serve as a mean to someone else’s end and when married and pressured to have children and carry on with the family’s wealth, he would need to forget such a dream.

Besides this fact, he knew well that his own father had a secret and that he lived a second life of his own. He doubted that he would have all that much work every night and rumor has it that mister Ki was in love with a creature of the sea and for the way Sung-Ho himself sang so melodiously, he wouldn’t be surprised if he found himself to not be who he always thought to be.

The sea always called for him and even now as a pirate, it was essential for his well being to be able to hear the crashing of the waves by the ship, the whistle of the wind that guides his fate and the voices of his crew that he adored even if not admitting to it so easily.

Personality:

He’s a logical person, but is able to still believe in the stories of what might live beyond one’s imagination and dreams that within such a vast universe that thee must be something else besides what he has discovered. The male also likes to think that everyone comes to find a fate and place in the world for a reason and he surely tries to make the best of the one shot he had.

He’s might talk more or less, depending on how he feels like he’s clicking with someone and depending on what the person decides to talk with him about when trying him for a conversation, seeing that he hates small talk and finds it useless, can be pretty kind and gentle if he intends to, so he hopes not all people just assume he’s a brute for what he is and the strength he has and also can be a big tease if people give him a opportunity for him poke fun.
