The years between the 200th year and the 300th year of the Primary Link’s time managing the Directive were fraught with turmoil and conflict. It was also a period where the Directive achieved a great many things. it began with the slaying of the Dimensional Horror, then the Primary Link sent out messages to various nearby empires requesting tribute in exchange for remaining under the rule of the Primary Link. Some empires accepted and others refused and received punishments in exchange while not being allowed the protection of the Directive. Such protection would become necessary as two major threats to the Directive emerged. First a fallen empire of xenophiles in the south of the galaxy awoke which didn’t bother the Primary Link as it held a subtle curiosity towards what a newly awoken empire would do. The second and greater threat was the appearance of an unknown and hostile fleet that appeared from what the Primary Link could only describe as a dimensional rift. The Primary Link attempted to make contact but was only greeted with the creatures called the Unbidden threatening to rip off its metal flesh which the Primary link found entertaining. The Primary Link devoted its Fleets to assisting the Awoken Empire that took up the role of a sweeper destroying Unbidden starbases while the Primary link’s fleets eliminated Unbidden fleets.
With a system of containing Unbidden expansion contained the Primary link set its sights on a nearby spiritualist fallen empire and claimed its resources and technology in order to support its plans to assault the dimensional rift controlled by the Unbidden. The Primary Link was even able to test the colossus and neuron sweeper it had created on the capital planet of the fallen empire. To supplement the now significantly larger fleet upkeep the Primary Link set aside exuberant amounts of resources to construct a Dyson Sphere in order to harvest all the energy of a star in the core sector.
With the partial Dyson Sphere already significantly boosting energy production the Primary Link began to prepare for an assault on the dimensional rift in order to drive out the Unbidden. at the end of the century the primary Link is left with these significant questions. Will the assault succeed? How will the awoken empire behave when it no longer has to fight the Unbidden? Are there other threats looming in the future?
