We’re producing a short documentary about Crossing the Divide. This short film, a co-production of GroundTruth and WGBH, will capture the three-month, cross-country journey of our reporting team as we explored issues that divide us and stories that can unite us. Jennilease Gomez, 17, a student at High School of Commerce, spends her Saturday morning working 30 minutes away from her home at a Dunkin Donuts. Gomez said she felt compelled to get a job to help support her younger siblings ages 7 and 11. This year she bought their school clothes.
