I'm hoping he regenerates. Logically, he ought to, but afaik unless the current Apocalypse running around redeveloped from the sweet improbably-reluctant-to-have-people-killed-given-his-upbringing kid Fantomex shot in the head, his immediate template didn't so I'm Concerned. Although I guess he could've been too young to manifest fully, whereas Evan got force-grown to sixteenish which is about when the first version revived. Hmm.

Regeneration is Apocalypse’s main mutation! It appeared when he was very young, when his marking appeared. It could be that the reincarnation of En Sabah Nur wasn’t fully formed, or it was defected in some way. (I don’t really know how he was reincarnated considering 616 apocalypse IS alive, but also ~in space~). Also Fantomex is a weapon X experiment, so there’s a chance that he had manipulated Evan’s genes. 

In Deadpool 2015, he survives having his arm blown off, and he also shows some serious molecular manipulation. This stuff didn’t appear for Apocalypse himself till he was 19/20 years old, and was only triggered due to his anger. 

Evan seems to be fine on the cover of Omega, so I don’t think there is need for concern. :)

(also apocalypse lying to nate about killing his own son would be so funny, considering 616 apocalypse has killed his own son before lmaooo)

TBH I mostly just hope Evan isn't permanently dead once they get out of Nate Grey's mass hallucination. But I also... mostly have no idea what's going on anymore.

I mean it seems that the next event HOX/POX is somewhat Apocalypse based (yay!)  considering that he’s in a lot of promo material. So maybe Evan was killed so that he’s sidelined for a little while and so that people don’t ask for more Evan/Apocalypse interactions.

But I have a feeling we’re gonna have Evan come back next week. Not for anything but mostly because Evan cannot be killed considering he’s also Apocalypse. It’s hard to kill Apocalypse If only because he regenerates quickly but ALSO because he heals when he’s sleeping. Evan also probably has the will of Apocalypse, which means he probably wont die as long as he believes he’s alive. 

If you notice in Xtracts they neither bury his body nor have a funeral for him. Nate probably doesn’t know that Evan can come back due to the composition of his body. Nate probably thinks that Evan just has the same body as Apocalypse rather than also the same mutation. He could think about it in the same way that he and Cable are sort of clones but have VERY different abilities. 

That’s just my two cents on the whole thing :)

Headcanons for Sharesse in AOXM:

Grew up on the Barbados with her mother and sister, Narissa. Her mother owned a fish shop, and because of that Sharesse’s really good at fishing. 

She originally was part of a love-centric group on the Islands, after a raid at the hands of Department X she and Narissa ended up running away to England. 

Narissa and Sharesse were part of the Red Roses, an activist group in London, that worked hand in hand with the Silver Tomb. The Silver Tomb was Apocalypse’s first art gallery. 

During an event, there was another raid, and half of the Red Roses were caught, most of Apocalypse’s entourage was also caught. Narissa was taken away during this raid and Sharesse sought comfort in Apocalypse because he was the only surviver of his group. 

Sharesse was the founder of the Xtracts but let Apocalypse take the lead because she was afraid of being public and getting caught. They moved to New York to directly challenge the xmen.   

Sharesse feels a lot of guilt about getting her sister getting caught because she couldn’t protect her with her mists. 

Speaking of her mists, her mists are also poisonous to herself if she’s exposed to them for too long. They’re not deadly, but they definitely do affect her. She can’t overdose on them, but they do give her an equivalence of a bad acid trip.

Oh so I make a suggestion about how Sharesse is an age appropriate love interest for Apocalypse and I’m wrong but Seeley is forcing ShadowApocalypse down my throat and I’m supposed to be FINE with it?

really love how in xtracts 1 and 2 kitty contradicts herself by saying “we’re still new to this,” to trevor in #1 and in #2 she’s like “It’s been years since you saved me from the rehabilitation center.”
