Pokemon Card of the Day #1560: Xtransceiver (Noble Victories)

Xtransceiver was an Item card that only saw occasional play. It did let you search your deck for a Supporter to put into your hand, but only if you flipped heads. This put the card in a really awkward spot since it could get something really important but could also be a useless card. It did get occasional use in the HGSS-On format, but it was rare after that. While Skyla was a Supporter, being able to use it to guarantee the right Trainer was available for the next turn was still viewed as better. Sometimes the sure thing was what you wanted to take.
