“I was here first and you ran into me. I fail to see how it isn’t your fault.”
“ No, actually, we were clearly here at the same time. And you kind of came out of nowhere. So, it's still not my fault. ”
"----Eren."
Eren had never seen anyone get hit by a car before and he had to admit, it was scary. It didn’t matter that the cab wasn’t moving that fast or that the boy seemed like he was probably okay. Eren’s heart hammered against his ribcage and he rushed to see if he needed help without even thinking. He bent over the boy and placed a hand on his shoulder, asking if everything was alright, and felt a weight lift off his shoulders when he answered. At least he was alive. Eren smiled nervously, holding out his hand. It didn’t matter that he didn’t like touching people or that he was probably the most awkward person on the planet. He just wanted to help. “Here,” he said, “let me help you up.”
He's a New Yorker, he's born with bones of steel. Probably. Besides, it's not the first time he's been hit by a car. Probably wont be the last. At least he's not crying and wallowing in pain. He's manlier than that. When the young man offers him a hand, he just looks at it with a groan. He has to get up, doesn't he? Well, he's coming back down to reality, now that the adrenaline in finally leaving his body, bringing even more pain to be felt. And no he's hearing the dumbass cabby yelling at him to get out of the way. Horns honk and most people just keep on walking by. Welcome to New York City.
But he takes the hand anyways, slowly getting up. Which wasn't easy. When on his two feet, he stumbled a little. But before he could reply to the stranger, he waddled around to flick his middle finger at the cab driver, "Hey, fuck you! Watch where yer divin' and just mind yer own damn business!" His accent liked to get thicker when yelling. Could you tell? Probably. He waddled back to look down at the young man, "I'm fine," He nodded, "I'll walk it off." Easier said than done.
"I---- I love spending time with you."
"Who's that blonde you were talking to?"
"Guess who just signed a certain curly haired boy up for Plenty of Fish."
