The Cullens surely would be fools if assuming that just because they managed to ease the Vulturi's need for balance between the species that they would be safe.
Victor didn't reveal himself until now, but he knew what has been happening. He saw from a distance -- thanks to his powers of being able to observe things if focusing himself in someone or somewhere even when by a big distance, that the fool, Edward Cullen, found solace within a human just as foolish and that because of her, they ended the eternities of his acquaintances and the worse -- As if that wasn't enough, they had an half-child that was now imprinted by a dog.
Simply disgusting.
What were the Vulturi thinking? Having this family, as they call it, going around, just because they would be out numbered due to the many allies those fools collected?
The vampire saw now that he had a good call when he gave up on being part of that elite of elders, when all they did was seat on their derriere and didn't bother to do the work they should and neither was being in a group as it used to be, when all they wish to do is play house these days and turn into new diets sooner or later, taking distance from what made vampires being what they are supposed to be -- true blood suckers.
He hated that he had to resource to this to carry on any plans as no others have done anything at all to stop this, but hopefully it would be of any fun on the meanwhile he tried to approach the family of fools...
With a sigh and a shake of his thick head of black hair, Victor slid his way into the entry of the cafeteria. Grinning knowing well the effect he'd have on the hormonal and feral humans that would follow him with their lust filled eyes, having no idea that they were all prey instead.
Now instead of high school, the setting was on college, but same old. Different building, but most of the young people remained in their small hometown, as if it would be dangerous to try something new, when in fact they were living amongst what should be monsters.
He only failed to see a boy within the group he locked eyes with so far, imagining that the darker skinned managed to slide his way into a sports school as he'd been planning to. The rest was there more or less: Ed the fool studying linguistics as his wife advised due to the poetry, as if the man didn't had all the courses under the earth by his belt by now, Bella and the scrawny human boy and the other girl also with glasses were into Journalism or so he perceived that the others shouldn’t be so far off seeing the specialties offered within.
"New here. Mind if I join you ladies?" The blue eyes of his pierced into the two human girls by the table, now abandoned by the Cullens as they per usual needed a breather from the human scent around the large area filled with fresh meat, which was excellent, seeing that the family, mainly the elders would know him well.
