I finished one of seven papers for my English 2 course, yay!!! Lol. And my fic also hit 1911 hits on ao3!!!!
But I do have a question. I'm pretty new to Tumblr, I don't even know how to do a tag list or anything, lol, but what's the difference between a one-shot, headcannon, blurb etc. Idk what any of that means lol. All I've got is a series but I've got other ideas that I'd like to eventually write but idk how to classify them. Lol.

For your question. Anyone is free to correct me, as these are what I categorize them as.
Imagine - Typically a short fic or descriptive passage. I categorize these as under 1,000 words, but length may vary by author. I also call imagines "ficlets" due to their short length. Example
Drabble - A true drabble, to me, is exactly 100 words, but length may vary by author. Generally still short. Example
One-shot - Usually a one and done story. One-shots to me are typically 1,000 words or more. Again, length will vary by author. Example
Headcanon - Bullet points of an idea, story or interpretation typically told in 1-2 sentence lines with each bullet. Example
